Focus on ball skills
To show a developing awareness of space. Begin to show different ways of using a ball; balancing, rolling and passing. To move around in different ways on their feet and develop rolling, bouncing, patting, kicking, steering, throwing and catching skills. To throw and catch using bean bags, small balls and quoits.

To throw and catch using different equipment, both individually and in pairs. To aim using different equipment, rolling, kicking, bounding and throwing. To work cooperatively and safely with a partner during aiming games.
